The Club
The Glen Meadows Golf and Country Club is located on Vancouver Island's North Saanich peninsula, twenty minutes from Victoria and ten minutes from downtown Sidney. Glen Meadows was established in 1965 as a Golf Club, tennis was added in 1968 and curling was added in 1977. The Glen Meadows Golf and Country Club is privately owned by the Criddle Family, has over 1000 members and is known as the "friendliest club around". The tennis club operates year round, weather permitting but is most active from April through to October and welcomes guest players. |

Facility
Glen Meadows has three outdoor hardcourts which are lit for evening play. In addition to tennis the club has six sheets of curling ice; 18 hole championship golf course; clubhouse with licensed lounge and bar, full service restaurant and banquet hall, changerooms with shower and sauna and viewing decks overlooking the tennis courts and golf course. |

Programs
Instructional programs are offered by tennis pro, John Harrison and include Monday morning adult clinics, children's clinics, private and semi-private lessons. Organized play at Glen Meadows begins with Opening Day (first week of April) and continues with Monday and Friday morning drop in tennis and social, monthly round robins & lunch begin in May and run through September. Off season mixed socials are held in February (Valentines) and December (Christmas). The club also hosts two Island Open tournaments (June and September), offers in-house leagues for women and men and fields Men's and Women's inter-club league teams at the Division II and III levels. |
